VFF Vice President affirmed that the Vietnam Football Federation is ready to meet the perk going with coach Park Hang-seo’s contribution for Vietnamese football. In the past few weeks, renewing the contract with Park has continued to become a hot topic, receiving a lot of attention from the public. Many people said that the Vietnam Football Federation should do everything to keep Mr. Park when the contract was 6 months to expire. Not only the media, the new contract of coach Park Hang-seo is also the main topic in the 3rd Conference of the Executive Board of Vietnam Football Federation - VIII (Term 2018-2022). Sharing with reporters after the conference, VFF Vice President Cao Van Nhan said the negotiation process to renew the contract is progressing smoothly.

" Financial regulations will be worthy to Mr. Park's contribution. I would like to affirm that VFF is confident with partners, companying firms to handle well the revenues and expenditures including salary for Mr. Park. Because of the negotiation process, we have not been able to disclose the specific number, besides VFF will also have targets for Coach Park Hang Seo. When we work with Mr. Park's representative, we saw his goodwill so things were going smoothly".

Meanwhile, VFF general secretary Le Hoai Anh also affirmed that Coach Park Hang-seo is ready to negotiate with the Vietnam Football Federation: "After we worked with Park’s representative, VFF officially released the message to extend the contract with Mr. Park, now Mr. Park's work in Vietnam is also going well, so Coach Park Hang Seo is also willing to negotiate to extend the contract with VFF".

Currently, VFF representative said there was no specific time for the 2nd meeting with Lee Dong-jun- the representative of Park Hang-seo. After the first four-hour negotiation, no specific agreement was reached yet. However, the Korean strategist always insisted that financial issue was not important and he was willing to continue his work in Vietnam.
