A member of VFF reveals that the negotiation on Park Hang-seo’s contract extension has met difficulties due to new terms from his representative. The official contract with coach Park Hang-seo will expire on January 2020 while Vietnam head coach and his representative hint at commiting with Vietnam football. VFF board also confirmed their determination to keep this South Korean coach. However, an standing member of the board said the discussion has not been comfortable at all since the representative requested many new terms with new salary.

The standing member said, “M🌃r. Park and his presentative all expressed their desiไre with the media to work here but when in the negotiation, they proved ‘tough’ because besides Park’s salary, there are a range of details attached, which all relates to ‘money’. Following the direction of  Ministry of Culture, Sport⭕s and Tourism, VGG must close the suitablꦜe deal. Sponsors also wish the fund as low as possible to help both sides”.

In the first contract, coach Park Hang-seo was paid $20,000/ month, this is from HAGL president money but the latest move saw HAGL president claimed no longer pay coach Park for the new co♔ntract but VFF does.

VFF general secretary revealed that they will meet coach Park Hang seo in the next few days then reach the agreements for a new contract, especially, Park empowered his representative to do all the procedures and no appearance in any meeting.

Park’s new salary will be twice or three times higher, up to $50,000 / month. Some firms expressed to sponsor yet only when the negotiation ends they will choose sponsors.
