Where will the 2022 World Cup Qualifier Draw take place?

The 2022 World Cup Qualifiers Draw Asian zonal is slated on July 17, 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - the 'headquarters' of the Asian Football Federation.

AFC will divide the participating-squads into 5 seed groups based on June 2019's FIFA table. The top 1 group consists of eight squads seated at the top 8 in Asia, while the other eight squads of the top 16 in Aไsia are pooled together at seed group 2.

Similarly, teams ranked 17th to 24th are at the seed group 3, and the squads from 25th to 32nd fall into the seed group 4. The seed group 5 have the appearances of the 33rd, and 34th teams along with the 6 teams passed the first qualifying round. According to the regulation of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers Draw Stage, each group will have the presences of 5 teams from 5 different seed groups. In the second qualifying round, teams are set to play following the 2-legged-encounter format from September 2019 to June 2020. The top 8 teams and the best 4 runner-up teams will progress to the third qualifying round to fight for a slot in the 2022 World Cup finals to be held in Qatar. Vietnam NT is standing at 96th place in the world and 15th in Asia. The 'Golden Dragons' will be seated at the seed group 2 in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers Asian zonal.
