Speaking with a South Korean press, Vietnam forward Cong Phuong wishes to become a good successful model in Europe for Vietnamese players.

Recently, the Japanese press Sponichi confirmed that Sint Truidense successfully recruited Cong Phuong. However, the contract details are not revealed yet.

Speaking with Sports Seoul (South Korea), Cong Phuong affirmed that he was delighted to play in Europe. However, the 24-year-old wants himself to succeed in Sint-Truidense, to become a good examples for other Vietnamese players.

“I am cheerful to be the first Vietnamese players to sign with an European contract. However, I am under a lot of pressure and responsible for that. I fancy becoming a good model for other Vietnamese players successful in Europe, not only playing here”. Sports Seould also reveal that Cong Phuong will complete all visa procedures  on July 7 and fly to Belgium, with a debut match on July 28 in the Belgium first devision. In the Belgian league, Cong Phuong may be awarded the No. 10 shirt by Sint-Truidense Club.
