U22 Myanmar coach Verliza Popov belives U22 Vietnam will qualify for the semis at SEA Games men’s football. In the last group match of SEA Games men’s football, Vietnam will take on Thailand to compete for a ticket to the semis. Speaking of the Golden Dragon chance, Verliza Popov believes Park Hang-seo’s side will enter the semis.

“Everything can happen in football as it depends on luck. I know U22 Vietnam not only wants a win but also looks forward to the gold medal. I think they will reach the semis in SEA Games,” Myanmar coach stated.

He also stressed he is proud of his players but stated not to lose in the semis.

“Our team played very well, and I am satisfied with the performance of my players. I know their limitation but I want them to play well and not to lose,” coach Popov shares.

U22 Myanamar and U22 Cambodia are the first two teams in the semis of SEA Games men’s football. Group A winner Myanmar will face group B winner which is either Vietnam or Thailand. Vietnam will advance if they draw or lose a goal in the U22 Vietnam vs Thailand match today.
