According to the latest news from Clermont Foot board revealing with Vietnam media, Vietnam striker will officially join Clermont Foot in this June.

Earlier, Cong Phuong to join a second-tier in France was rumored for a long time. It was said that Paris FC was the next destination for the striker.

A few minutes ago, Clermont Foot responds and confirmed with Sport5 that Vietnam national player Cong Phuong will be employed in late June:

As reported earlier, Clermont Foot is a second-tier in France, they haven’t reach Ligue 1 yet. Notably, Clermont Foot squad consists of more than 50% of players under 23, which could be seen the direction and  the long term strategy of this club. Cong Phuong is scheduled to try his job in 1 month to persuade the scouts here, if everything is good, he will be the first Vietnamese to play in Europe.

However, Cong Phuong is having difficulties on procedure for visa licensing documents, with l🌄uck h𓄧e will be set to depart for France to begin his trial trip on June 24.
