Chu Dinh Nghiem clained that the win is the success of Vietnam Football, speaking after the match of Hanoi in AFC Cup 2019 ASEAN Final. The Wednesday match between Hanoi and Binh Duong kicked off on hang Day stadium.

By winning in the first leg, the host played with confidence. The continuous attack helped the bagged the only goal from Pape Omar in the 61^st minute, sealing the 1-0 win for the hosts, then 🅷through to the inter-zonal final of AFC Cup 2019.

Win the victory, Hanoi becomes the only ASEAN representative to reach inter-zonal final of AFC Cup 2019. Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem affirmed this the shared pride of Vietnam, not only Hanoi FC.

“This is not my success but the whole team. This is also not Hanoi history, but Vietnam football history.

It is such an honor to see 2 Vietnamese representatives facing each other in the continent arena. The achievement today is such a great honor for me and my team”, Chu’s glad.

Hanoi FC excellently defeated became Binh Duong to win the ticket through to Inter-zonal semifinal of 🍒AFC Cup 2019.

In the inter-regional semi-finals, Hanoi FC will face a very strong team Altyn Asyr but Chu is still confident go with his men as far as possible:

“I will gradually study the opponent in the next round. Hanoi will still spend the best for the AFC Cup. We will compete with our best, play with the highest spirit but I don't dare to say whether we could win or not”.
