Cong Phuong comment followed the addition of Brazilian-born defender Otavio Dutra to the Indonesian squad just a few days ahead of their World Cup 2022 quali🌞f🅘ier in Bali.
Otavio is tall and physically strong, and iꦫs known for his aerial duels won.
“It is not about which defenders they will use. If I play well, things will be fine. My goal is to be included in the starting lineup and do my best,” said Phuong.
“Victory is Vietnam’s ultimate goal in every match. I want to thank all the fans for supporting the national team. Keep your faith in us!” Phuong added.
He said Tuesday’s away match will✃ be a bit challenging for the Vietnamese players, who had to travel a long way to Indonesia.
“But when we are on the field, we all aim for a win. The coaching team thoroughly analyzed Indonesia’s strengths and weaknesses,” Phuong said.
The Indonesia-Vietnam match will kick off at 6:30 p.m at Captain I꧅ Wayan Dipta stadium.
